Too Faced Bulletproof 24 Hour Eyeliner in Get Lucky, Dirt Bag and Mink

I'm not entirely sure why makeup brands think we want to wear makeup for 24 hours - Too Faced's latest eyeliner release promises 24 hour wear and a creamy texture which can be smoked out before it sets down.  Available in eight shades from neutrals to black to brights, it's a BeautyBay exclusive in the UK.

The cardboard outer is a little bit perplexing - it's a pretty large box, and the eyeliner itself takes up very little space inside it.

The product itself is double ended, with a standard twist-up dispenser for the eyeliner, and with a chunky foam tip for blending at the other end.

Mink, Dirt Bag, Get Lucky
Mink, Dirt Bag and Get Lucky are all full of sparkle, despite the description of Mink calling it matte - it really, really isn't.  I like Mink for a natural, sparkly look, but Dirt Bag is my favourite - a smouldering chocolatey brown with tons of sparkle, it's perfect for a bronzed smoky eye.  Get Lucky is a very intense teal - not for the faint hearted!

Wearing Dirt Bag on upper and lower lashline
You really don't get a lot of time to blend these babies out - they set solid within thirty seconds after they glide on creamily to the lashline.  For that reason, I've taken to applying quickly to the top lashline, blending, and then applying to the lower lashing and blending again.  It's even better if you remove the cap from both the product end and the blender end to help you blend even faster!

Once set, the colour is pretty damn budge proof.  I haven't tested them for the full 24 hours, but I've worn them for around 15 hours and I found that the colour lasts really well - no transfer, no fading, just rich, perfectly smudged liner.  At £16.91, they're not cheap - but if you want a chunky, richly coloured, long lasting liner, Bulletproof 24 Hour Eyeliner might be right up your street.
