BUY THIS NOW: Makeup Revolution Baked Eyeshadow in Chocolate Deluxe

This has got to be one of the most crazily-named eyeshadow palettes ever.  I mean... it's called Chocolate Deluxe.  But seriously, those shadows are shades of pink, russet brown and red.  NOTHING like chocolate.

See?  The swatches prove it.  Pale pink, pale icing sugar white, mid-pink, shimmering reddish pink, and russet brown.  I would have called this palette Parisian Patisserie.

Anyway, ranting about naming aside, this is an unexpectedly lovely baked eyeshadow palette, with payoff and depth which you wouldn't expect from something which costs a mere £2.50.  These shades are immensely flattering on my hazel eyes, and I imagine would look pretty stunning on green eyes too.  They're pretty smooth to apply, too, although you will need a primer to fix them on firmly, and you may need to layer up if you want full intensity with the shadows applied dry.

Still, at £2.50 (incidentally the price my stepdaughter paid for a 5 minute pony ride this weekend), I'm calling this palette a bargain.  Find it at the Makeup Revolution website.

Disclosure:  Bought by me, because 300+ eyeshadows aren't enough.
