Genius: Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster

Clarins' latest self-tanning product is a wonderful idea - a teeny tiny bottle of concentrated self tan essence which you mix in with your regular moisturiser.  You only need use a couple of drops to get a gentle tan which develops naturally over time.  Clarins claim that this promotes a more natural tan because you're applying it with your moisturiser, which helps give a more even application and allows plenty of time to distribute over the face and rub in.

I really like the idea of adding something to moisturiser for a bit of a glow.  It doesn't force you to change your skincare regime at all if you want to self tan in the summer, and the relatively small outlay of £18 means you can use up your existing skincare whilst still getting some colour.  Better still, you can customise how much you use by adding between one to three drops, morning and/or night.

I rarely self tan for a number of reasons - one, because redheads with brown skin look a bit weird, and two because I'm clumsy and just know I'd end up with a patchy and/or orange face.  Radiance Plus Golden Glow Booster seems like such a gentle introduction, though, even I'm up for giving it a try.

Find it now at the Clarins website for £18.
