NOTD: Orly Elation Generation

This beautiful shade is from the Orly Hope and Freedom Fest collection, which was a bit festival themed.  Elation Generation is a warm rosy pink with sparse holographic glitter.  I particularly like it because whilst the pink base colour is not particularly unusual, I don't think I've seen many polishes with this kind of holographic sparkle - it's not subtle, but it's less in your face glitter than some of the more densely sparkly polishes in my collection.

The above photo shows two coats with a coat of top coat, which is plenty opaque although there is a tiny bit of visible nail line showing.  Wear was good - paired with Orly's spectacular Bonder base coat I got a week's wear out of it; without Bonder I get about four days.  Perfect for a summery, sparkly manicure!

You'll find it online at BeautyExpert for £9.10.

  1. This is so cute! Love the color with glitters on it. I find it light and classy. I think this is perfect for everyday wear.

    1. That's why I love it - it's not quite so in your face as most glitters or holo polishes! Far more subtle.
