NOTD: Illamasqua Ouija

This gorgeous creature is Illamasqua's Ouija, from the latest Paranormal collection.  It's one of four colour polishes which glows under black light - this particular shade glows a rather lovely hot pink colour.  Luckily, it's just as pretty in normal light (which is a good thing, given that I rarely go anywhere trendy enough to have black light).

This bright cool toned pink has a lovely silvery microshimmer which catches the light beautifully.  I've applied topcoat, which gives it a nice shine, as without topcoat it's a little bit dull - I think due to the black light reactive pigments.  This is two coats, but really I could have gotten away with a single coat - it's incredibly pigmented and opaque.

Wear wise, it wears much like it's Illamasqua polish sisters - very well.  This photo was taken two days in, and it lasted a further two days before I got bored and changed it.  Find it at Illamasqua counters and at their website now, where it'll cost you a spendy but totally worth it £15.

  1. Their polishes are wonderful, but getting quite expensive, unfortunately.
