This rusty orangey red is part of OPI's new San Francisco inspired lineup for AW2013. Out of the four shades I was lucky enough to bring home from the event, this one was the least exciting - until I put it on my nails. It's a rich, deep cream finish polish and it looks fantastic on short stubby nails. Thankfully my nails happen to be short and stubby (I'm regrowing them for my brother's wedding) so this colour was a perfect match.
I quite like that the shade is reminiscent of the orangey red colour of the Golden Gate bridge. It's not quite as orange as the bridge itself, but it has the same rusty tone, which I think would be flattering on both cool and warm skintones.
Application was good, as usual for OPI, and the wide brush made short work of my nails. This is three coats for maximum opacity, although I really could have stopped at two. The photo above was taken three days after application, and you can see some tipwear starting to set in - but there are no cracks or chips to be seen.
Sadly this polish won't be on the market til later this year, but when it does come out, it's well worth checking out.
