EOS Lipbalm in Honeysuckle Honeydew

I've been meaning to try these EOS lip balms for ages now - so when I spotted one at BeautyMart in Harvey Nichols, I had to buy one.  EOS stands for Evolution of Smooth, and this lipbalm is unique more for it's spherical shape than it's moisturising properties.

Inside the spherical pot, you get a rounded solid balm which can be used to moisturise the lips or to tame the brows, if you so choose.  I think part of the hype around these is down to their shape; the curves make it easy to apply to both the upper and lower lips quickly and easily.

The balm does have a subtle scent and taste - this particular variety tastes and smells of honeydew melon, which is rather lovely.  It's not a massively synthetic scent either, just sweet and fresh.

At £7, this is a bit of an expensive indulgence - and one which is a little bit more gimmick than it is essential innovation - but it makes a nice unusual gift for someone who likes a good balm.  You'll find it in store at BeautyMart, and online in their online shop.
