New haircut
I had a good four inches lopped off my hair last weekend. Not because I particularly fancied a change - I loved my long loose red curls - but my hair has been falling out at an unusual rate and I wanted to get rid of some of the weight and let it bounce up a bit. I'm blaming the hair loss on my contraceptive implant, which I may well be having removed soon due to its affect on my skin and hair.
This is the freshly coloured, freshly blow dried look. I doubt I'll be able to replicate it at home - my attention span is far too short for this level of blow dry perfection - but hopefully I'll be able to get close! Any blow dry tips gratefully received!

I'm not much of a hair person either, reason why I keep it long I guess. I find using a flag iron after blow drying helps a lot. That's when I'm not too lazy. Could your hair loss be due to stress? I know this has been my case in the past.
ReplyDeleteI like to keep the hair effort as low as possible... straighteners do help with the flicky ends though! My stress levels are pretty consistent :)
DeleteLook fantastic and I love the colour so much!
ReplyDeleteBabyliss Big Hair is my only real blow dry tip; it makes life sooo much easier xx
Thanks for the tip - I'll definitely investigate!
DeleteLooks absolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThankyou :)
DeleteI love your hair colour and your new cut looks great. Unfortunately I'm probably even worse than anyone at blow-drying or anything to do with hair so no tips sorry! X
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteIt may be the implant having regard you mentioned the problems with skin becomes too oily for some reason. There are a few causes of hair loss for women, but combined with sudden oiliness it's definitely hormonal issue. I hope you will find the optimal solution!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I suspect you're right - next thing is having it removed I think! :)
