FOTD - Avon Arctic Goddess

We had a look at Avon's new Arctic Goddess collection recently, (and met brand ambassador Alesha Dixon, who fairly amazingly sang along with me to the One Pound Fish song) and brought home a few bits from the collection to play with.

Arctic Goddess includes a palette and some very lovely blue and green nail polishes - more about those soon. It's generally an unapologetically BLUE colour-scheme, which for some will raise fears of icy 80s eyeshadow, but is actually very wearable.

Here's the Arctic Goddess palette. The star shade is the intense matte blue, which reminds me a bit of MAC's Electic Eel. The pale green is also quite interesting. It's sheer, but contains iridescent green glitter which creates quite an impressive effect.

I also love this lipstick with its multi-faceted bullet - it's Mega Impact lipstick in Really Rosy. It's not part of the Arctic Goddess collection but I think it goes fairly well with this blue-eyed look.

Really Rosy lipstick is available from Avon representatives (not online unfortunately). The Arctic Goddess collection will be out in November.

*Disclosure - PR samples

  1. What a gorgeous look! Love the lip colour!

  2. Those look lovely on you - and the compact is cute, too. I like the wintry artwork on it.

Will the Arctic Goddess shadows be available on the website, as the lipstick isn't? The lady I *was* getting Avon from has stopped selling and I haven't gotten round to looking for a new rep yet.

  3. These products look great, and the make up you created with them really suits you! We love the dark eye shadow and the rosy lipstick! Do you always opt for blue eye shadow or is it something you did as a change?
