Applied over a couple of coats of Smartie-blue Topshop AWOL, this is Ibiza Mix, one of the five Models Own / Hed Kandi collaboration polishes. And what a stunner it is - it's big, bold and flashy and unapologetically glittery. Made up of a variety of different sizes of hexagonal glitter, it's predominantly golden, with bits of blue and black thrown in for good measure. It might look like it's got a black jelly base, but it actually applied as glitter in a clear base.
This is two coats applied as a topcoat. The glitter is relatively sparse in the base (despite the density in the bottle) and you'll need to do a bit of glitter arrangement once a drop of polish has been applied to ensure even coverage, as otherwise you'll end up with strangely patchy glitter application. I was surprised by the scent of this polish - it absolutely stinks to high heaven, far more than most other polishes. It's a little offputting, but if you're a glitter fan, it's probably worth it for the effect! Unsurprisingly, removal was difficult, requiring a bit of soaking to get the glitter particles off the nail.
