My Cargo Blush Collection

It's a small collection, but one that's very dear to me.  Cargo blushes are the stuff of dreams - well pigmented, but not so well pigmented you have to apply with extreme caution, soft in texture, and easy to blend.  The pans are just the right size for your average blush brush, and the colour looks great on the skin and lasts all day.

Clockwise from the top left, we have Louisiana, Barbary Coast, Tonga and Siena.  Barbary Coast is a SuedeBlush, which contains a number of colours you swirl together to get a multi-dimensional result, and the others are all from the standard Cargo Blush line.  If I had to choose an absolute favourite, it'd be Tonga - it's the perfect neutral dusty rose, with a matte finish that's not at all chalky, and it goes with pretty much every look I've ever applied to my face.

Swatches from left to right: Louisiana, Barbary Coast, Tonga, and Siena.  Tonga and Siena, the matte shades, are well pigmented and don't look at all chalky, and the shimmer shades of Louisiana and Barbary Coast are just shimmery enough to be pretty rather than overly discoball.  

At £15 each, Cargo blushes aren't cheap, but nor are they massively expensive.  You get almost 9g of blush for your cash, but don't be deceived by the deep metal tins - the blush pans are a standard depth.  If your interest is piqued, you'll find Cargo's blush range at BeautyBay.  Lyon is the next one on my wishlist!
