NOTD - Catrice Beavis and Mud-Head

I loved Beavis and Butthead when I was younger. In fact it was all I could do not to strike the iconic "Cornholio!" pose when my friend Gillian presented me with this particular Catrice polish as a gift from her holiday to Amsterdam. Cheers Gillian!

Catrice isn't widely available in the UK, but it's already started making its way onto the radar of the beauty blogger community thanks to its low prices and wide range of enticing shades. The other shade names are similarly outre and filled with OPI-esque cultural references (and a few nods to Essie as well - there's a shameless dupe called "Absolutely Chinchilly").

As you can see, Beavis and Mud-Head is a cool mid brown creme. It's darker and browner than the standard Chanel-dupe greige, but it does embody some of that cool, classy work-appropriate greigeness.

It wears like iron as well. I only took this off because I was ready to try something else - it wore for about 5 days (work + commute + washing up etc) without complaint. This is 3 coats plus top coat.

  1. I love Catrice polishes - great colours, mostly good consistency and they're not expensive. One of my favourites are Plum Play with me, Purplized and Catrice It Blue my Mind and the newest colours look really pretty as well.
