NOTD - Estee Lauder Teal Topaz Pure Color nail polish

Here's another seasonal winner from Estee Lauder - Teal Topaz. It's a deliciously smooth, opaque cream in a dusty turquoise/teal shade.

(Sorry for the lack of clean-up on these pictures.)

It comes from the limited edition Pure Color Topaz spring collection, inspired by Creative Director Tom Pecheux' holidays in Arizona. The collection also features eye, lip and face colours in various sandy, coppery and taupe shades, with a couple of twists including a citron yellow lipgloss. (More about that soon.)

I love this approach to spring nail colours. Instead of bowing to the usual pastel spectrum of yellows, pinks and blues that appear across the brands in spring, Estee Lauder have simply turned the dial down a few shades, creating something that's gentle enough for the season but still stands out a mile.

It's opaque in 2 coats and wears like Teflon. Perfect. This is going straight into my top ten favourite nail colours.

Teal Topaz will be available from February, costing £14 for 9ml.

  1. Ohh nice colour! There seems to be a lot of blue nail polish about at the moment, really like it!
