Lip of the Day: By Terry Gloss Terrybly Shine in Honeymoon Kiss

This rather pretty gloss is part of By Terry's spring 2012 line, and contains a variety of baffling ingredients ('Kiss Me Quick' extract, anyone?) designed to plump, hydrate and firm.  Strangely named ingredients aside, this gloss is still rather luscious - it's reasonably thick textured, slightly sticky, and very hydrating, which makes for a product that stays on the lip for around 3 hours (impressive for a gloss) and leaves the lips feeling soft and conditioned.

My lips do look more plump when I'm wearing this - but that's probably at least partially down to the flattering mid-pink shade, soft golden-pink shimmer, and subtle shine.  This shade is likely to suit most complexions - and the name, Honeymoon Kiss, speaks to its rather universal appeal.  I can see this being a good pick for a luxurious wedding day lip.

Out in spring 2012, this high end gloss is likely to come with a slightly terrifying price tag - probably around the £20 to £30 mark - and you'll find it alongside the rest of By Terry's range in SpaceNK.

  1. FYI! The Kiss me quick extract is also known as pink purslane from the Portuluca plant! The colour looks sweet and looks as though it has a gold shimmer? Does it? By Terry are expensive so I will just live in hope that one is given to me! Lol x

  2. Yep Natasha, there are pink and gold sparkles in there :)

  3. This looks like how I imagine a Nars Orgasm lipgloss would look.
