Lip of the Day: NARS Pure Matte Lipstick in Montego Bay

I love NARS Pure Matte lipsticks.  They're less drying than many true matte shades I've tried, and they come in a fantastic selection of colours outside of the usual matte flag-bearers, bright red and chalky nude.  Montego Bay is part of the Autumn collection, and it's a real stunner of a colour.  It's a soft rose pink which runs to a perfect pink My Lips But Better shade on me, and I absolutely love it.

Like the rest of the Pure Matte range, it's reasonably comfortable, beautifully pigmented, and easy to apply once it's warmed up a tad.  This colour is going to offset the copper shaded, smudged black liner eyes I quite like to wear in Autumn, when I'm not wearing a deep lip.  Lovely.

NARS Pure Matte lipsticks are available at the usual NARS concessions, and via their website, where it will cost you £18.50.
