Higher Nature Aeterna Gold Collagen Creme Serum

I've been testing out this product for a few weeks now, and during that time, it's developed a new name in my head.

The Face Bra.

Why? Well, this stuff lifts, tightens and generally hoiks everything upwards. It's an interesting experience indeed. Basically, it's a thick, opaque white but non-greasy cream that once applied to the skin, dries into an invisible film that has a definite tightening effect on the skin.

It's not a typical serum formula. In fact, I've found it to be more like a moisturiser and have worn it several times as a night cream with no additional moisture with no dryness. That's during summer, however - in winter or for older skins, it might need something extra to complement it.

I mention older skins because this product would be absolutely perfect for lifting and tightening facial skin that has begun to lose elasticity over time, as well as providing a hit of moisture.

The ingredients include marine collagen (non shark-based, Jaws fans will be pleased to hear), various natural oils, vitamin E and, judging from the ingredients list, a little dash of hyaluronic acid too.

It has a neutral, natural sort of scent that stays consistent as it warms on the skin - quite pleasant and not at all "marine". More herby or floral.

I'm a big fan of the airless pump mechanism, which is very hygienic, as well as rather satisfying to use - it's large and sturdy and presses down with a pleasing sort of resistance as the product is squeezed out. It's also easy to dispense as much or as little as you want.

The Face Bra (oh OK, Aeterna Gold Collagen Creme Serum) is produced by a natural supplements company called Higher Nature, and will set you back £26.40 when you buy it online (P&P is free).
