Review and Swatches: Paul & Joe Eye Gloss Duo B in Depth

Paul and Joe's recently released Blue Horizon collection includes these rather nifty eye duos.  This is Depth, a beautiful combination of sparkling peach and shimmering purple.  The Eye Gloss Duos are designed to combine two textures of creamy eyeshadow; a sparkly sheer shade with subtle glitter, and a more pigmented shade with an almost metallic finish.

The Depth gloss duo is certainly beautiful, juxtaposing two colours which you wouldn't necessarily see together.  The peachy shade is the sheer shade - and it contains the most gorgeous green glitter, which really catches the light on the eye.  The more intense purple has a subtle low level sparkle and can be easily sheered out with a fingertip.  Texture wise, these products are beautiful - like all of the Blue Horizon collection, they're designed to be slicked on quickly for a minimal, pretty summery look, and the silky texture of these eye glosses is very easy to work with.

The glossy texture doesn't compromise on staying power - once set, it should last all day without creasing (although if you, like me, have oily lids, it's best to apply over a good dose of primer).  The range includes shades to enhance all eye colours, making them a great shortcut to a flattering and easy summer look.

Available now from Paul and Joe stockists, including BeautyBay online and in-store at Fenwick, Eye Gloss Duos will cost you £16.50 each.  What do you think?  What's your easy summer look?  Let us know in the comments!

I love the peachy shade! My easy summer look is bright lipstick and mascara and nothing else.
