Review & Swatches: Laura Geller Baked Blush in Ethereal Rose / Sateen Subtle Berry

I've professed my love of Laura Geller products before - I nabbed myself one of the baby blush palettes a while ago and just loved the range of colours and the glowy finish.  A birthday gift of one of the excellent value Laura Geller sets available on QVC contained yet another blush - and I've fallen head over heels in love with it.

Like the other blushes available in the range, this one is baked, ultra soft, and has a gently glowing finish.  Split between Ethereal Rose, a pale, shimmering peachy pale pink with a touch of gold glitter, and Sateen Subtle Berry, which is a netural pink-berry with shimmer.  Swatched, the colours are quite subtle on the skin.

Applied together, the two shades combine to make a really pretty blush.  I've been turning to this colour when I want a wearable cheek colour that's not too strong, but still noticeable.  Lovely.

I got mine as part of the On The Bright Side collection, which includes a Blush n Brighten foundation, concealer, eyeshadow and eyeliner as well as the baked blush shown above.  The set will cost you £38 - if you're looking for the blush on its own, eBay is your best bet.  What do you think?  Tried Laura Geller blushes?  Let us know in the comments!

  2. Thankyou! Well worth investigating - I think Laura Geller's marbled products (like this blush) are actually much lovelier than the more cultishly admired MAC versions :)

  3. I've tried LG's Bronze and Brighten in Light, and what impressed me so much about it was it actually mimicked the texture of tanned skin, not just the color. It disappoints me that her line isn't as hyped as MAC's Mineralize, because the products are superior in finish and performance.

  4. Pretty! I don't know if Laura Geller is available here, which is probably a good thing because I can't help myself when it comes to baked products XD
