DIY nail art - accent tips

I got an amazing unexpected gift the other day - my friend presented me with this box of treasures...

It's a huge job-lot of nail art pens that she picked up ages ago but has never got around to using. She had a feeling I'd find a use for them, and of course she was right.

I decided to try a few of them out, and here's what I came up with. I started with a single layer of Wild and Crazy Hard Ball, then painted on burgundy tips. Finally, I chose 4 random nails and added a black "wave" line with a gold glitter accent.

As you can see it's all a bit wobbly and blotchy - more practice needed I think. But I really enjoyed doing this and will definitely be dipping into the nail-art pen box more in future.
