NOTD: Lippmann Across The Universe

I know I've posted this very polish before - but I didn't manage to get a decent photo, and the one I did get contained some very abused cuticles which detracted from the polish.  Well, my cuticles are still just as bitten, but the photo shows much more of the sheer complexity of this gorgeous polish.

Blue and green glitter of varying sizes are suspended in a midnight blue jelly base; three coats gets you good opacity (and cancels out visible nail line) whilst still allowing the glitter to show through.  Simply beautiful.  Yes, it's a pain in the arse to remove, but it's definitely worth it.

Like all Lippmann glitters, this one's expensive, costing around £16, but if you're a lover of glitter polish, you'll probably think it's worth it.  Find it at House of Fraser's Apothecary.  What do you think?  Desirable, or too much effort to remove?  Let us know in the comments!

  1. It's gorgeous but out of my price range!

  2. Stunning, for me it's a question of how to get to House of Fraser since it doesn't appear n the website :s xx
