The metallic turquoise is a beautiful, if not massively unique colour, which glows prettily and is very striking. Two coats gave full opacity, and the polish applied smoothly and easily, although the brush on mine was annoyingly bent and a bit hard to use.
Next time I wear this, I'm going to layer a couple of coats of the purplish colour on top of the turquoise to see if I can get an even spanglier result. I also think that this shade will work beautifully well on top of silver, or even black.
All in all, I've been really impressed by this concept - the colours work really well together, but still look striking alone (although I reckon you'd need to layer the purple shade up a fair bit to make it opaque, as it's pretty sheer). Three colours from one slim tube definitely gets my vote - and at the reasonable price of £7.99, I'll definitely be buying a few more.
Available at Superdrug, both in store and online, the Trio Nail Polish will set you back a mere £7.99. The range has been on 3 for 2 a couple of times recently, too.
What do you think? Tempted by the concept, or this beautiful colour? Let us know in the comments!
I never really paid this brand any mind but the polish looks stunning, perfect for Indian functions and the like..
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they have a "section" in the Superdrug in Westfields where they do your nails for you.
Oooh, I've never spotted these before. I'll have to go check em out!
