NOTD: Mavala Lagoon

Mavala Lagoon is a really pretty spearminty pale green, which in some lights looks like a pale turquoise.  With its flat cream finish, it requires at least three coats to get a decently smooth application - even after three coats I noticed a fair bit of streakiness, although that was easily remedied with a good thick layer of topcoat.

The best thing about Mavala polishes is that they come in tiny little bottles (5ml, compared to 15ml for most other brands), with tiny tiny prices.  £3.95 buys you a decently formulated, smooth polish, and despite the small size, the brush is still big enough to make application a breeze.

If you'd like to try this out, you'll find it at BeautyBay, where it'll cost you £3.95.

  1. this colour is similar to Barry M in Mint, which is a favourite of mine. I had no problems with applying and only applied one layer. But your nails look great :) If I didn't already have this shade i would definitely invest.
