WIN! L'Occitane Divine Immortelle Serum + Eye Treatment

French brand L'Occitane are releasing a new range of (rather dramatically named) anti-ageing skincare, which includes Immortelle essential oil, believed to help with cell regeneration and to have anti-ageing properties.  It's due to launch in October in the UK, and we've got a set of the Divine Extract serum and Divine Eyes treatment to give away to one lucky reader!  Alongside this competition, we'll also be putting samples of the same products through their paces via Sarah's Mum (thanks Sarah's Mum!).

So, if you'd like the chance of trying out these luxurious new products, you need to do two simple things; firstly, you'll need to be a follower of the LBR, and secondly, leave us a comment below (using the account with which you are a follower) answering the following question...

If you were to create an anti-ageing range, what would you call it?

Silly or simple, terrible pun or elegant name, we've all seen some very strange names being applied to anti-ageing products, and we'd like to see what you can do on the same theme!

The competition will close in two weeks, on Saturday 2nd October.  Good luck!

International entrants welcome.

  5. I'm not participating, but if I was, I'd go for "Your Sagging is Lagging!" for that Soap & Glory style.

  6. Ive never liked the idea of 'Anti-Aging.' Something more like 'Cell Rejuvenation' sounds more attractive for a brand like L'Occitane. I cant think of anything unique, its hard for something like this.

Love your blog and thank you ^_^
    KK x.

  7. I think I'd call it 'Gracefully', because anti-aging products can be part of a person's skincare routine to help them grow old gracefully :)

  8. Hello!
I think I would call it "Everlasting skin" as the immortelle flower is everlasting.

  10. I follow since a while!

Here is how I would call it: Jouvence. There is a saying in French: la fontaine de Jouvence, and you refer to it when something makes you young, feel young or look young. Lots of leading skincare brands are French, so a French name is always glamourous! (and since L'Occitane is a French brand, that name would have suit their products well!)

So that`s how I would call my anti-ageing range.

  11. In ancient Koine Greek, one of the words for "beauty" is ὡραῖος, or horaios. It literally translates to "being of one's own hour" and carries connotations of both age and youth. This, to me, is the perfect view to have of aging; to be beautiful is to own the hour you're in. Horaios seems to me to be the perfect name for an anti-aging range.

  12. I would called it "Golden Beauty skincare" since the color is yellow-gold.

  14. Oh no, everyone has come up with sensible suggestions! I would call it something cheesy like 'radiant bloom' - I'm a sucker for that type of thing!

  16. I'd like to call it Eternity, but it might be trademarked by Calvin Klein...
I like what Yves Saint Laurent said: fashions fade, but style is eternal - external beauty also fades, but inner beauty is eternal and never fades.

  18. I would go all 'high-end' and call it something ridiculously lame like: Dermal Devolution. See, devolution, like 'turn back time', recapture youth and all that jazz.

    haha.

  19. I would be tempted to call it 4skin as it would be for skin, but also be a double entendre which suits my slightly cheeky personality to a Tee!

The other option would be skin viagra as it would perk your skin right up! ;-)
