Oh, wow. I'm not sure if I can pick a favorite! I think, though, I might be a recent OPI convert. I've been testing all my untried OPIs this past week, and I'm in love. The formula is heavenly. It just flows right on.
ReplyDeleteIn general, though, I'm a huge fan of bright red nail polish.

My favorite nail polish is actually the one that got me started on makeup in the first place. My mom's red Revlon nail polish! I think it was called Fire Engine Red (and is probably looooong discontinued) but it was intense!
ReplyDeleteDon't know if Revlon could stand up to Sephora :) because Sephora rocks my socks. It's hard to replace your first love though
My Favourite nail polish Rimmel all colour specially black and nowadays iam using french manicure (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_6TP9bXPNL18/S0WkVLggCQI/AAAAAAAABOc/uE7jC2dU_AM/s400/DSC03540.JPG )

My favourite bargain brand would have to be Barry M, they've got such a varied range of colours that it's hard to get bored and when they're so cheap you can just experiment with all the colours and see what you like and what you don't. That said, Rimmel has got some beeaauuuuttiful colours and the brush on the Lycra Pro range is blooming gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAs for something a bit more high-end it would probably be OPI - hot colours, good coverage...doesn't chip easily...what more could you want?!
Ooooo.... love todays prize!!! Enter me please Ladies.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose a favourite polish though. Im just bought a new OPI which is Barefoot in Barcelona, cant wait to try that out, its looking like a fav just in the bottle! ha. I also like Barbara Dalys for Tesco range of Nail Polish. Excellent quality.

I like Mavala, because the pots are small and cheap, meaning you can buy loads and not worry if you go off them. My fave colours are 'London' - a bright pillar-box red - and 'Paris', a coral-red.
ReplyDeleteI've been buying a lot of opi stuff lately. My current fave (no doubt will change in 2 days) is "Call your mother". A bit like "metro chic" but less dirty looking. xD
ReplyDeleteAlos Barry M do some good nail paints, very bright colours. I like the 129, it's a pale lavender colour, beautiful! x
I remember buying several bottles of Miners' polish when Etam closed down, and doing a rather snazzy spectrum effect - yellow to green to blue. Now I just stick to Rouge Noir (No 7 do a good dupe) on my toenails.
ReplyDeleteMy favourite nail polish ever is the long discontinued Starry Starry Night by Essie. I only ever use that on very special occasions! As far as a particular brand, I love China Glaze for their bright colours and awesome formula!
ReplyDeleteI’m quite fickle when it comes to nail polishes, one day I’ll love one shade and then the next I’m ohh-ing and ahh-ing; with that said the shade I will pick up more often than not is black, it can be by any brand, just as long as it’s black and shiny! – It’s my version of a LBD but for my nails!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite polish is usually whatever is on my nails at the moment (today it's Zoya Ki) but the nail polish I'm REALLY lemming at the moment is Nfu-Oh number 51, it's beyoootiful, wish we could get it over here!

ReplyDeleteI have to say, I love Rimmel's 60 seconds nail polish. It dries quick and the nail colours are lovely. It gives my nails a lovely shine and the applicator is cleverly shaped to give a precise and smooth glide over my nails in one stroke.
ReplyDeleteBarry M is great too. they have an extensive range of nail colours.
Please feel free to email me for any info :)
