Welcome to London Beauty Review, a blog about cosmetics, skincare, haircare, fragrance and everything in between. London Beauty Review (LBR) is written by two girls from London; Sarah and Gemma.
A little bit about how we work:
We're consumers, not beauty editors. We operate on an independent basis, and review items honestly from a consumer perspective. Our aim is to bring you a balanced, unbiased review based on real-life experience, as well as news and opinions relating to the broad field of beauty.
Sometimes we receive samples from companies who want us to write about their products. When we write about PR samples, we will add a clear disclosure notice to the article in italics. We won't compromise on honesty because we have received something for free. Our first priority is to bring our readers balanced, impartial verdicts on the items available to them on the high street, online and at beauty counters.
By the same token, any thoughts, opinions or viewpoints you find here are our own, and have no relation to the companies who produce the items we write about unless otherwise stated.
A note about PR samples
Samples are treated on a consideration basis. Due to the volume of samples we receive, we can’t promise to review everything we are sent, so PRs, please bear this in mind when you send us something to try. We usually trial products over a period of weeks, although some time-sensitive items (or those we’ve got a real bee in our bonnets about) may be reviewed much quicker. Please note that we require a lead time of at least 3 weeks for skincare reviews in order to give products a thorough road test.
Please note that we will NEVER offer a biased review in exchange for samples.

ReplyDeleteI'm a new reader, very interested in your reviews as I often travel to the UK. Shopping is one of my favourite passtimes while I'm there. I'm a big fan of British beauty products (Boots and Superdrugs have no secrets for me) and I'd like to thank you for being so complete, impartial and clear in what you write!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Michela
Glad you're enjoying the site Michela - hope we're helping you find some quality British products to stock up on while you're over :)
